PayPal a Deposit Option at PKR?

Unfortunately, the answer is no and Paypal has not yet become a deposit option for PKR poker players.  However, PKR is very similar to some of the other PayPal poker rooms out there so hopefully PKR and PayPal will reach an agreement to make PayPal a deposit option very soon.

The other poker rooms that do accept PayPal are all rooms that don’t accept United States players and PKR fits this criteria.  Some of the poker rooms that are currently accepting PayPal as a deposit option include Betfair Poker, Ladbrokes Poker, Paddy Power Poker, and Party Poker.  These rooms will surely see a spike in sign-ups because a lot of potential players only have PayPal accounts online and would be much more likely to play if they knew they could deposit via PayPal.

Poker rooms aren’t the only online gambling sites that are allowing deposits via PayPal.  Many PayPal casino rooms have started to accept PayPal including 888 casino, William Hill casino and Paddy Power casino.  Bingo rooms are also seeing the advantage of allowing a PayPal deposit option and many PayPal bingo rooms are beginning to emerge.  Some of these rooms include Ladbrokes bingo, William Hill Bingo and Paddy Power bingo.  Each of the rooms above saw a niche in the market for players that want to deposit via PayPal and they reached an agreement with PayPal to provide this easy deposit option to their players.

We can hope in the future that PKR also starts allowing PayPal as a deposit option because I’m sure this would result in more PKR downloads and a bigger overall PKR player base.
